The Grabby Awards, which could be called the gay porn equivalent of the Oscars if you're high on something, were awarded Saturday night in Chicago, along with the IML festivities and parties and debauchery far too numerous to mention. You can find all kinds of blog reports on the behind-the-scenes activities, from straight info to the far more ludicrous "Inside Edition" type, but if you're just interested in who took home the trophies, the winners in major categories include Ryan Rose for Best Versatile performer, Best Manly Man is Connor Maguire (left), Hottest Top winner is Topher Dimaggio, Hottest Bottom is Alexander Gustova (right), Best Newcomer(s) are Levi Carter and Shawn Wolf, Hottest Cock winner is Boomer Banks, who also won, in a tie, with Trenton Ducati as Performer of the Year. Trenton won in the same category last year. A well-deserved tip of the vidioview.com chapeau to Raging Stallion/Falcon guy Chris Ward, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award, and to Michael Youens, who along with Ellen Friedman and Douglas Richter aka Nick Young, was inducted into the Wall of Fame. The complete list can be viewed at the Grabby site.
Oh - the winners of IML 2014 were, from left to right, Steve Dupont, Ramien Pierre and Cody Troy.
Falcon Edge, which is, duh, the edgier line of Falcon, has released it's second feature called "Turn It Up!" In this one, director Nick Foxx continues to explore what happens "when good boys get bad," the good/bad boys in this one include Chris Bines, who could be the reason they invented box covers, appearing in two scenes, and Jimmy Durano, Ricky Decker, Connor Maguire, Alex Graham, Brandon Jones, and Lance Luciano, in his final porn appearance, they tell us. Pity.
If you must, the latest scene on TimFuck features Jacob Lee and Enigma. Enigma, last seen in the TIM family films "Suck It" and "Bruthaload 6," impales Jacob "in every way imaginable and then some." He also introduces us to a new fuck command, "Get them grippers on." I Googled it, but all I got was a step-by-step guide on how to regrip my golf clubs.
He's not a COLT guy, tho he did do scenes for COLT and a couple of others. Now, Luke Adams is at Hot House, where he's in his first movie there, getting fucked by a machine. No, really, a REAL machine, tho you could certainly refer to several Hot House guys as just that. The film is "Control Room," another to-be-classic from Christian Owen. Also appearing with Luke is Dave Circus, in his first HH film, along with a cast including Jimmy Durano, Seven Dixon, Marcus Ruhl, Alexander Gustavo and Tommy Defendi.
If you can't get enough of those delightful COLT Icon guys, here's another one to get you going. He's Byron Hawkwood and, no, I'd never heard of him, either, but he is right up there, you should pardon the expression. The muscles, the moustache, the hair...oh, the hair. Even Tom Sellek would drool over Byron. Check him and the other Icons at the COLT store.
TitanMen's entry this week in the New Release department is "Night Heat," where "...darkness falls and the humidity seeps through your skin," it says here. The first scene with Tom Wolfe and Jay Bentley is up now, and and the entire DVD also features the studios' exclusives Dario Beck and Hunter Marx, along with Justin King (left), Tony Orion(right) and Alessio Romero.
To get these scribblings weekly in your inbox, email me. Mailings go out late Monday afternoons.

Marine aficionado Dirk Yates is at it again with his "Frontal Assault 3," featuring more...ahem...straight Marines' audition tapes, and "100% Devil Dogs." Do they still make those? You'll find "Marines" Lance Layman and Derek in this latest production.
If you're into twink B&D, you're probably familiar with the ExtremeBoyz site, and now they've got something new They're doing interviews with the lads, and you'll find the first one interesting, in an odd sort of way. It's with their newest model AJ, who lets us know what turns him on, and what got him into the B&D thing. When you first see Lyon, the interviewer, you think, huh? But he's not too bad,;think Andy Cohen, if you must, and it's kind of fun to watch before you view AJ's spanking scene with Serge.
