It was reported on social media over the weekend that legendary porn director Jim Steel had passed away. Bob East (of the lamented Men of Odyssey studio) confirmed Steel's death this morning.  I first saw it Tweeted by Jason Sechrest who, oddly, has not  been in the gay porn-reporting biz for at least three years and still managed to break the story (alleged though it may have been at the time). David Forest told me that Steel's maid had found him dead in a chair at his home in Palm Springs, confirmed by East. Steel, who first broke into the biz eons ago with the parody hit "Davey and the Cruisers," worked for several of the big studios of the day, including HIS, where he directed the "Rites" series, as well as Falcon and Men of Odyssey. He was inducted into both the Grabby Awards Hall of Fame (1999) and the GayVN Hall of Fame (2005).

UPDATE: A celebration of Jim Steel's life is scheduled for Saturday December 6 th in Palm Springs zt Melvin's at the Ingleside Inn.  This had been Jim's hangout since moving to Palm Springs over a year ago.

I hear you saying it must be hours since a studio signed a new exclusive. The Falcon Group wants to alleviate that situation with the signing of "rising star" Nick Sterling, who shall appear in films for Falcon, Raging Stallion, and Hot House. He appeared firstly in Falcon's Edge release "Ready to Fuck," and it was decided that Nick certainly was just that, on an exclusive basis. His first scene under the new deal will also be for the Edge line, to be released in January.  Meanwhile, you can also catch the hunky guy in "Jacked," both parts of "Alpine Wood," and "Best Buddies," all on the Falcon label.

Not to be outdone, Lucas Kazan has a new exclusive as well. Say hello in whatever language he speaks to Gaetano. The fitness instructor is 24 years-old, hails from Palermo Sicily and, according to the still-stunning director Ettore Tosi, is "openly gay." And hey, guys, you've got a chance, cause he's single. He is "a bit of a voyeur and a little kinky," adds Ettore. "I dream of getting fucked by 5 hot guys," says Gaetano. Who among us haven't had that dream.

Chi Chi LaRue tells us, via her new release from Rascal and Channel 1, that "Everybody Fucks."  Not exactly "breaking news," this one features a "room full of hot guys, jockstraps, and sweaty scorching sex," as we'd expect from a Chi Chi production. Cast includes Alex Adams, Alexander Greene, Nick Cross, Valentin Petrov, and what would a Chi Chi movie be without Johnny Hazzard.

Also being re-released from Channel 1 are 1993's "The Bite," a vampire-classic long before the current craze. The amazing Jon Vincent is the vampire, along with Rob Cryston, as they wake in a tomb ready for action.  "Taking it In" is from 1999, and is a comp of scenes directed by Chi Chi, Rod Barry and Doug Jeffries, featuring Vance Winter, Andel, Antonio Madiera, Benjamin Bradley, Brad Benton, Jeremy Bilding, Josh Vaughn, and Lane Fuller, all names that should be remembered fondly.

If you prefer your men to look more….er, immature...check out Helix Studios' latest model Dalton Briggs.  He's a blond, though we're doubtful that the carpet matches the drapes, if you catch my drift, and he does have an impressionable member.  You can view his solo at the site, though I suspect the other young men at Helix would just love to get hold of saids member, so stay tuned.

Let's see...who else has a new exclusive this week...why look! It's David Forest. The incomparable manager/agent has just signed Rico Suave, just in time for a few year-end movies, live shows, and, of course, those "private meetings" that prompted the much-discussed movie "Brad's Buddies."  But I digress.  Rico is, according to David, "sweet and smooth on the outside, hot and nasty on the inside." He is a recent college grad, who apparently studies the gay adult world. He lives in LA, and can be contacted through Ms Forest.

This week's history-making event is Hot House's release of their first feature produced as part of the Falcon Studios Group.  Excited? I thought not. Perhaps you'll be more so by viewing "Dirty Fuckers," featuring a plethora of what they're calling "A-Team Exclusives" Johnny V, Brian Bonds and Sean Zevran, along with Jimmy Durano, Tommy Defendi and Ivan Gregory (right).  The Christian Owen-directed film is available now at your favorite Piggly Wiggly.

I haven't mentioned the usually giggly teeny-boppers over at ExtremeBoyz.com for awhile. You may have missed the initial appearance of Jay in the ExtremeBoyz dungeon, but have no fear.  He's back for another, with a new...ahem…"friend."  All sorts of frivolity ensues.

Speaking of twinks, this one's named "Rookie." Not "Ricky," but "Rookie."  Rookie grew up dancing, so he can "move his hips like nothing you've ever seen."  He's kicking the ol' soccer ball around, taking off some clothes to get more comfortable, as most soccer players do, and invites us to check out his dance moves, along with other things. It's up at the NextDoorTwinks  site.
