Because Fabscout's Howard Andrew knows how I love to plan ahead, he, along with JustUsBoys.com and Fleshjack, have announced that gay porn's only gay triplets, those wacky Viscontis, will be appearing at the notorious Boardwalk Bar in Ft. Liquordale on Thanksgiving week. That's in November, if I'm not mistaken, so it gives you plenty of time to arrange your agenda to make it Down South to see Joey, Jason and Jimmy, the three J's...

The big news is...no, not TMZ's first photos of "Chaz" Bono and his/her girlfriend, but BelAmi joining forces with CorbinFisher.com. The two leaders in their respective fields will be joining forces, which will involve the sharing and joint production of content. The deal, according to the PR, includes collaboration on several exclusive scenes as well as a full-length DVD, "Five Americans in Prague," which will be out later in the year. Yet another example of the changes taking place in the gay porn industry, it's to the viewer's advantage, as we'll get to see the dreamy guys from both of these companies...together! The possiblities are mind-boggling, and just thinking about it is causing many unnecessary (yet delightful) bulges.
Pacific Sun has announced they will be distributing the movies of Liberate Studios, which they say (to their knowledge) is the the only XXX gay studio filming and operating out of Cape Town South Africa. Liberate was founded by UK model Kurt Rodgers (right, the one with the tattoo, & the equally hunky Fabrizzio Pauloni), who has worked for "Men At Play" and "UK Naked Men" and film and music director Ross Winters. They see SA's beautiful locations, great weather and, we hope, more importantly, "amazing men," as the perfect place to shoot their fine family films. They say also have SA model Jed Wilcox and Frenchman Nic James, and tell us that the "faces are fresh and the locations are different," and promise "different kinds of guys." Not "different" different, but varied, I think, was the word they were looking for, as their first release "Rogered" (yes, that's the title) is said to have muscle guys with short hair, and their next film (no unusual title as yet...) will be "more twinky." The premiere release is set for July.
Constant readers (and even some not-so-constant) will remember the recent item about Jason Adonis returning to a regular gig in the gay porn biz. He had done a solo scene for COLT (who provided the pic here), and Jet Set's Chris Steele had Twittered that the once-popular performer would be doing a couple of movies for his studio. Well, as they say, please disregard previous item. I got a call from Adonis over the weekend, telling me that he has decided that his career in porn is over. Telling me that he's "too old" for porn (if he's old at 29, I shutter to think what I might be...), he said the parting of the ways with Jet Set was cordial (tho he didn't use that word), and he wanted to concentrate on his family (he was spending Father's Day with his daughter). He said, in an email he asked me to post as a "goodbye and an "apology" for his fans, "This business has always been a horrible struggle for me. It just got to the point where the anxiety from having sex with a guy on camera was too much." He added, " I have picked up some new extreme sports that more than replace the thrill of the porn lifestyle." He will, he said, be working at a "real job," and be "enjoying the life of a regular guy" and
will "miss everyone." He said he would send along a current pic "to remember me by," but not right now, as he was looking for a "real job." So it looks like we must bid a sad and fond adieu to Jason Adonis and his gay porn career...well, at least for today. And as for a "cordial" departure from Jet Set, Chris Steele led me to believe otherwise, saying "All I know is I am filming "Carjackers" starring Jet Set Exclusive Marcus Steele this week." The movie was to have starred Adonis.
Let's see if "Ugly Betty" can maintain its position as the gayest show on mainstream TV. Porn diva Michael Lucas has won himself a walk-on role on the ABC show with a winning bid of $18G at a live auction. The Stonewall Dinner in the Delegates' Dining Room at the UN, which had, as its guests, gay and lesbian "power players," was an event to honor Dustin Lance Black and Mitchell Gold. "Of course I wanted to give money to Stonewall," said Lucas, "but I also saw a chance to shake up television a bit: the first porn star cameo ever on a family program." It will be interesting to see how ABC deals with a porn star on prime time TV. He will remain clothed, I suspect, and I wonder if the role will be credited. More importantly, ML is finally starting to release the highly-anticipated nekked pics of the gorgeous guys he found in Israel, beginning with the luscious Avi Dar. Can't wait to see him in action.
Yet another MSR 2-for-1 Titan's Manplay Double Pack series. Fans of the late studios' fine productions will want to again see "Prowl 5: Rough as it Gets," another of MSR's hot leather movies, this one, incorporating images from Tom of Finland. Featuring Trey Rexx and Nick Piston (left), Arpad Miklos, Marco Paris, Mike Grant and plethora of hot men, it's equal to the second feature on this DVD, Tony Alizzi's "Hell Room," with the depraved antics of Trey again, along with Trent Cougar, Nick Piston, Michael Soldier and Anthony Shaw. Reminding us how much the MSR studios are missed, the "Manplay Double Pack" is now available from the TitanMen site, and will be on the new release shelf early in July.
New from 8teenboys is "Teen Fuck Buddies," with a plethora...actually, a dozen, twinks doing what it is that twinks do. Jesse Star, Tommy Anders and Tristan Tyler are among those youthful, and I do mean youthful, looking guys, so if that's your thing, this one's for you. It's on the New Release shelf now.
Vince Ferelli, the hunky bodybuilder and new Hot House exclusive, is just one of the featured performers in Hot House's new "Locker Room" movie. But wait...there are four more lovely HH exclusives here, Ethan Wolfe, Kyle King, Johnny Gunn and Tony Mecelli, along with Blu Kenned, Derrek Diamond, Slade and Tony Estrada. The title pretty much gives the plot away, if that's why you watch such things. Blu is also seen on the cover and in the new "Backroom Exclusives Videos Volume 11," as is Ethan Wolfe,and Ross Hurston and eight other of the Backroom boys. You can find both of these on the HH site, and newer Backroom scenes on the Hot House Backroom site.
Like Louis B. Mayer used to say ("Who??" "Ask your mother!..."), there are more stars than in the heavens. I'm talking about Chi Chi's latest leather epic "Taken: To The Lowest Level," and I'm betting you can't get much "lower"...er, better than this. The cast, which practically covers the back box cover, even with thumbnails, includes the charming Jeremy Bilding, blondie Philip Aubrey, Luke Cassidy, Johnny Hazzard, Adam Killian, Lucas Knowles, Blake Riley (left), Shane Risk...I could go on (and usually do). Just name the fetish and filth, and you can pretty much find it here - water sports, cum eating, flogging...you get the idea. Every one seems to be doing the extreme stuff, and she's at the top of her game with this one. The over-four-hour "Taken:To The Lowest Level" is a 2-disc Director's Cut set, and is on the Channel 1 site now.
If the "Amateur Bears" are this good, imagine what the professionals must be like. BearFilms.com has released the 4th in their "All Amateur Bear" series, which features 10 of the hot and hairy guys in five scenes, from what they claim is the "biggest bear content producer in the world," with "big" being the key word. The cast features Brian Oliver, Buck Marshall and Chaz Richards, among others, and the company has been producing these for over seven years. Look for "All American Bears 4" on their website now.
Brady Mayo's latest twink addiction for High Drive Productions is "Hot For Twinks," and, if you are, you'll enjoy this one. Brady introduces us to KC Morgan, a 19-year old "frat bro" with a daddy complex. Hey, what's wrong with that, I ask? There are a dozen young college-age guys (the oldest is 22, the poor thing), all horny, who give it up for five scenes, including two "completely gratuitous" 3-ways. I'm not sure what that means, but it's fun to watch. The dialogue in the first scene was pretty amusing, and I even think it was meant to be. Actually, all the dialogue is subtitled. Not sure why, but it's not distracting. The interviews at the end are kind of fun, and we learn that Mitch Hart (right) has auditioned several times for "American Idol," tho no doubt, not with the performance he gives here. In addition to Mitch and KC, the cast includes Alex Christianson, Blake Carter, and Gavin Stone, and is available now on their website.
Jeffrey Escoffier's book "Bigger Than Life" is more than just a history of gay porn - it was a daunting task, and the book's release party at the LGBT Community Center in NYC was attended by some of the legends themselves, including Jerry Douglas, Chi Chi, and Wakefield Poole. It's published by Running Press, and congrats to Jeffrey for a job well done.
