The last time I spoke with Jamie, the personable entertainer had retired from the porn industry, and was about to release his second mainstream movie. Now, he's back and has filmed his first gay porn movie in eight years.

M: What brings you back to porn after 8 years?
J:  I wanted to get back to my roots, and now seemed the time. When I left, it was a bad time for the industry. Now, there seems to an open market for good product. You’ve now got Dirty Bird Pictures, Falcon, Hot House…that’s the caliber of movies I want to get into.
M:  Who is going to be your distributor?
J:   We’re still in talks. We’ll be doing four a year.

M:  Tell us about “Friendly Force.”
J:    It’s about cops and robbers, corruption, sex lies and videotape, and all that other good stuff. I’m going back to the basics.
M:   And it stars?
J:   A lot of Fabscout and Hot Rod guys like Brody Newport, Logan Robbins, Kevin Cavalli and a new guy Chad Clovis.

He is from Phoenix. Brand new. Just fell off the truck. It’s going to be a nice comeback for me.
M:   Tell me more about this “going back to basics” philosophy.
J:    We’re going to do just four movies a year. We want it to be fun, to have the guys in it have fun. Having hot sex, not a five-hour filming scene where it’s simulated, but really hot guys really enjoying it. It feels right.
M:   You did some mainstream films while you were away. Did you miss the gay porn industry?
J:    I did. I learned I don’t want to work with real actors and I do want to work with porn guys. Working with a big cast and crew with different attitudes and over six months of shooting…it was fun, but I can bring that all back into the porn business. I think I’m more humble now.
M:  It’s unusual for someone to be out of the business for so long to come back.
J:   One of the reasons was for business. It’s always been a business to me. After a lot of thought, I decided to return because it’s one of the few businesses where there is a lot of opportunity for a small or mid-size company to make a good turn-around in revenue. I love what I do, I have a passion for it. My goal is to make the best product I can.

Jamie's website has been redone, and you can get all kinds of info on Jamie's new movie there..
